About Tameez

Tameez was born from a longing for simplicity, care, and honesty — for products that feel as good in the body as they do in the spirit.

The word Tameez means clean in Persian — not only clean ingredients, but clean intention. It speaks to respect, refinement, and doing things the right way, even when no one is watching. That meaning guides everything we create.

My story begins far from shelves and studios. I came to the United States as a child, carrying very little with me, but learning early the value of tenderness, resilience, and making do with care. Over time, that sensitivity turned into a devotion: to the body, to ritual, and to the quiet power of daily nourishment.

Tameez products are made slowly and thoughtfully, in small batches, using ingredients that are chosen with reverence. Grass-fed tallow is rendered gently to preserve its nourishing qualities.
